May 7 (Bloomberg) -- Dwight Howard had 29 points and 17 rebounds to lead the Orlando Magic to a 112-98 win over the Atlanta Hawks in the National Basketball Association playoffs.
Howard led five players in double-digit scoring for the Magic, who have a 2-0 lead in their Eastern Conference semifinal series. Vince Carter tallied 24 points, while Rashard Lewis and Jameer Nelson each had 20.
Al Horford scored 24 points and Jamal Crawford came off the bench to add 23 for the Hawks at Amway Arena in Orlando, Florida.
The teams travel to Atlanta for Game 3 tomorrow.
