The following companies may have unusual price changes in Nordic trading. Stock symbols are in parentheses and share prices are from the previous close.
The Stoxx Nordic 30 Index, a measure for the region, fell 58.65, or 0.9 percent, to 6,779.03.
The OMX Stockholm 30 Index lost 0.3 percent as Norway’s OBX Index fell 1.4 percent. The Helsinki 25 Index decreased 1.8 percent and the OMX Copenhagen 20 Index fell 0.6 percent.
Ahlstrom Oyj (AHL1V FH): The world’s biggest maker of engine filters said operating profit minus special items will increase this year when compared with last year’s result. The shares fell 1.2 percent to 11.12 euros.
Boliden AB (BOL SS): The Swedish copper and zinc miner was downgraded to “underweight” from “neutral” at HSBC Holdings Plc. The shares fell 0.9 percent to 111.8 kronor.
Carlsberg A/S (CARLB DC): The Nordic region’s biggest brewer was downgraded to “neutral” from “buy” at Goldman Sachs Group Inc. The shares fell 1.6 percent to 448.5 kroner.
Finnair Oyj (FIA1S FH): Finland’s biggest airline canceled all flights until 6 p.m. local time today because of volcanic ash in the air, the Vantaa, Finland-based carrier said. The shares fell 3.3 percent to 4.45 euros.
Metro International SA (MTROSDBB SS): The Swedish publisher of free newspapers said it made a first-quarter net loss of 5.8 million euros ($7.81 million), compared with a loss of 15.3 million euros a year earlier. The shares gained 3.4 percent to 1.52 kronor
Modern Times Group MTG AB (MTGB SS): Sweden’s largest private broadcaster said it plans to distribute its Internet retailing business to MTG shareholders. The shares slid 1.7 percent to 422.2 kronor.
Nokia Oyj (NOK1V FH): The world’s largest mobile phone maker saw its price estimate raised to 10.8 euros from 8.8 euros at Morgan Stanley. The shares lost 3.2 percent to 11 euros.
YIT Oyj (YTY1V FH): Finland’s biggest builder won a contract worth “considerably larger” than 60 million euros. The shares declined 0.6 percent to 17.52 euros.
