People are trying to wait out the economic crisis in business school, and Northwestern's Kellogg School of Management is on many applicants' "most wanted" lists. If it's on yours, you don't want to miss the next live chat event on Tuesday, Mar. 17, at noon ET. Beth Flye, assistant dean and director of admissions at Kellogg, will answer your questions about everything from writing a winning essay to the job prospects for Kellogg MBAs.
Flye has been in MBA admissions since 1996, and for the past six years has been working at Kellogg, where she has she has seen her fair share of applicants and has developed a keen eye for what works and what doesn't when it comes to landing a spot at BusinessWeek's No. 3-ranked full-time MBA program.
Your host for this event will be Francesca Di Meglio (FrancescaBW), the B-schools community manager and reporter. To participate, you should head to the Business Schools homepage about 10 minutes before the scheduled event. There, you'll find a promo for the chat (on the right-hand side, toward the bottom). Click on it to enter the chat auditorium. If you haven't registered with the site before, you'll be prompted to do so. There's no charge and it should only take a few minutes. Feel free to get in touch with Francesca if you have questions.
Hope to see you there!
If you can't attend a live event, you can send Francesca (Francesca_DiMeglio@businessweek.com) questions for the guests in advance, and she'll try to pose as many as she can. Please use the subject line "Kellogg Chat." Or, you may simply read the transcript that we post afterward.
