OK, here’s the future. In this time of recession, with consumer spending plummeting and corporate profits disappearing, Clorox, the bleach maker, is making money by going green. It is selling lots of Green Works dish and glass cleaner products that are free of petrochemicals and contain plant and mineral-based ingredients that are biodegradable. It started that line in December.
And Clorox is selling lots of Burt’s Bees natural lip balm and hand cream. It bought that in December as well.
So CEOs out there, get it? Green Growth is the future.
