Memo to advertisers buying time on NBC’s Meet The Press: Don’t waste your money on the last commercial pod.

As a faithful DVRer of MTP, I have for many weeks noticed that the show is over at 0:51. Nine minutes left in the hour, and the show is over with. Done. Finito. Tim Russert comes back for only a five-to-ten-second programming plug. The rest of the NINE minutes is ads.

Who is actually paying for this time? Who is watching?
