Treasuries were lower in price Wednesday morning. The 10-year note was lower at 100-22/32 for a yield of 4.670%, while the 30-year bond wass lower at 100-31/32 for a yield of 4.940%. Action Economics reports that yields were pulled temporarily lower by the larger than expected retreat in durable goods orders, though from very elevated levels the month prior in this volatile series, which makes it difficult to extrapolate much from the data.
