Amazon.com (AMZN) posted 23 cents vs. 47 cents fourth quarter EPS as higher costs and income tax expense offset a 34% sales rise.

NYSE Group (NYX) posted 29 cents fourth quarter GAAP earnings per share (EPS) vs. an 18-cent loss on a 55% revenue rise.

Home Depot (HD) Announces that Frank Fernandez, executive vice president, secretary & general counsel, and Dennis Donovan, executive vice president of Human Resources, have resigned effective February 14.

Walgreen (WAG) posted 11% higher Jan. same-store sales and a 17% total sales rise.

Arch Coal (ACI) posted 55 cents fourth quarter EPS vs. one cent loss despite flat revenues. The company sees $1.25 to $2.00 2007 EPS.

Gannett (GCI) posted $1.51 vs. $1.44 fourth quarter EPS from continuing operations on a 7.5% revenue rise.

Electronic Arts (ERTS) posted better-than-expected 63 cents vs. 86 cents third quarter non-GAAP EPS, as higher operating costs offset a 1% revenue rise. The company sees fourth quarter revenue of $550 million to $600 million and non-GAAP EPS of roughly breakeven-$0.03.

Contintental Airlines (CAL) raised its quarterly dividend by 13.3% to 17 cents.
