Jefferies Cuts 4Kids Entertainment to Underperform

Analyst Robert Routh sees no reason to own the stock at the present levels

Jefferies downgraded 4Kids Entertainment (KDE) to underperform from hold, after the company on Wednesday posted 4 cents vs. 36 cents fourth quarter earnings per share (EPS.)

Analyst Robert Routh says that the weak quarter comes after a year of totally missed numbers and no forward visibility. He says that barring some unforeseen transaction, he sees no reason to own the stock at the present levels. He cut his 55 cents 2006 EPS estimate to 42 cents.
