With all the head scratching that's going on about how to get the notion of RSS across to a wider audience, I think Steve Rubel is onto something with his list of 10 uses for RSS.
We've all been there, right? Sitting in a coffee house or driving in a car, whatever, and explaining to someone what RSS is. You finish the basic explanation about the aggregator and subscribing etc, etc, and then they ask....So what would I do with RSS? And you're not quite prepared for that, because just in explaining the technology, it seems obvious that there are a billion things to do with it.
But armed with a handy list of things, handling that question is a snap.... what would you add to the list?
I would add....
1/ Subscribing to iTunes so that you can get alerts for the top 25 French pop songs just added to the service.
