The organization plans to implement a home in box program that allows people around the country to pre-build houses that can then be shipped to New Orleans. The idea is to distribute the ability to build homes across the U.S. and speed up the process.

This can help address, in a very small way, one of the issues I have been wondering about--how the poor in the decimated areas who don't have home insurance will rebuild.
