Thirty-five miles east of Vancouver and 1,300 feet above it, Westwood Plateau Golf & Country Club in Coquitlam roams the slopes of Eagle Mountain, through towering Douglas firs, over granite canyons, and along scenic lookouts.


Glen Abbey Golf Club, the first solo design by Jack Nicklaus, is 25 miles away and has hosted the PGA Tour's Bell Canadian Open since 1977. The Royal Canadian Golf Association's Hall of Fame and museum nearby is also worth a visit.
