Goldman Sachs reiterates recommended list on International Game Technology (IGT ).
Analyst Steven Kent says he'd take advantage of a trading opportunity in front of the Global Gaming Expo. He notes over the past four years, International Game shares appreciated up to 20% in the weeks leading up to the gaming show in October, and he believes the trend will continue this year.
International Game plans on releasing its new games at the show (October 1 to October 3) and believes investor enthusiasm will grow as speculation surrounding new games builds. Kent thinks International Game's attractive valuation makes for a good entry point. He sees $2.80 fiscal 2001 (Sept.) EPS, and $3.20 EPS for 2002.
