COMMENTARY
Volatility remains the watchword on Wall Street--especially in the Nasdaq
market. The Nasdaq Composite plunged 4.4% on Apr. 24, only to jump 6.6% the
next day. For the week, the Nasdaq lost 2.1%, while the Dow and S&P 500 made
good gains. Embattled Microsoft took it in the gut, losing 13.6%. So did
Chairman Bill Gates: The value of his shares dropped $8.3 billion.
