Besides investing in silver, Warren E. Buffett has another new venture: selling campaign-finance reform. The billionaire has joined a crusade led by Wall Street venture capitalist Jerome Kohlberg Jr. to rein in big-buck political campaigns. Buffett wants to ban unlimited "soft money" contributions and require instant electronic disclosure of other campaign donations. His goal is to reduce the influence held by wealthy individuals and big corporations on elections.
