AT&T has announced it is offering telephone service to none other than North Korea, probably the world's most paranoid state. Operator calls can be made from anywhere in the U.S. to North Korea. And from California, New Jersey, and New York City, you can dial direct to Pyongyang. But if you don't know the number of the person you're calling, forget about getting help. As AT&T puts it: "North Korea will not be providing directory-assistance services."
