Dan Quayle may have pulled out of the Republican Presidential contest, but don't assume the former Vice-President will be sitting on the sidelines throughout 1996. Associates say he's likely to run for governor of Indiana next year. Popular Democratic Governor Evan Bayh, whose second term expires in '96, can't succeed himself. Quayle, previously cool to the job, now sees it as a way to stay politically viable for a future race for the White House.
