"Stock picking marvel--or just a slick promoter" (Finance, Sept. 27) said a judge found that Rafi M. Kahn had "committed willful perjury." On Aug. 26, a U.S. appeals court vacated an injunction blocking his attempt to unseat the board of ICN Pharmaceuticals Inc. It also vacated the perjury finding, ruling "unless perjury is at issue in a case, such a finding is not necessary." The court declined to reverse the perjury finding, saying, "we perceive no basis for doing so on this record."
