The article "Whales, human rights, rain forests--and the heady smell of profits" (People, July 15) profiling Anita Roddick and Body Shop stores, makes one wonder if BUSINESS WEEK disapproves of making a profit.

If Roddick is making a mint, then more power to her. Perhaps others will follow her initiative and become cognizant of the world we seem hell-bent on destroying. I like the idea that no ani-mal needs to die so that I can have eye shadow.
