Canadian Solar to Supply 44 Megawatts to North Carolina Projects

Canadian Solar Inc. (CSIQ), the third-best performing solar panel maker in the past year, won an order to supply modules with 44 megawatts of capacity for seven projects in North Carolina.

Entropy Solar Integrators LLC plans to build the projects this year, Guelph, Ontario-based Canadian Solar said today in a statement. Terms weren’t disclosed.

REC Solar ASA (RECSOL) and SunEdison Inc. (SUNE) have outperformed Canadian Solar’s stock, which has almost doubled over the past 12 months.
