Vestas Supplying 53-Megawatt Turbine Order to Allianz in Sweden

Vestas Wind Systems A/S (VWS), the world’s largest wind-turbine maker, agreed to provide equipment with 53 megawatts of capacity to Allianz Capital Partners for a project in southern Sweden.

Vestas will deliver 16 3.3-megawatt turbines to the project in Sattravallen beginning in the third quarter of 2015, the Aarhus, Denmark-based manufacturer said today in a statement on its website. The sale includes a 15-year service agreement. Terms weren’t disclosed.
