Law Professor Jost Unravels Obamacare Legal Challenge (Audio)

Tim Jost, professor of Law at Washington and Lee University School of Law, analyzes the factors that led two federal appeals courts to issue opposite verdicts on a cornerstone of the Affordable Care Act: the ability of the federal government to subsidize policies through federally run insurance exchanges. He explains how the two courts came to opposite conclusions on the same clause in the act, why politics was not necessarily the deciding factor in the decisions, and what a higher court will be considering as the White House seeks to get the negative decision overturned. Jost speaks with Bloomberg’s Kathleen Hays on Bloomberg Radio’s "The Hays Advantage”.
