Dallas Cowboys Sign Multiyear Partnership With Carnival Cruises

The Dallas Cowboys and Carnival Cruise Lines signed a multiyear partnership, uniting the National Football League franchise with the world’s largest cruise line.

Carnival Corp. (CCL) will be the official cruise line of the Cowboys, a partnership that coincides with the line’s February 2015 deployment of a third year-round ship, Carnival Freedom, to Galveston, Texas. Carnival said it expects to carry more than 600,000 guests a year from Texas, the most of any cruise operator, according to Carnival.

The cruise line will also sponsor the team’s daily training camp news show, which airs regionally on Fox Sports Network, and deploy a prize crew that will roam parking lots at the team’s stadium in Carnival-branded golf carts.

Financial terms of the agreement weren’t disclosed in a news release.
