Black Says ‘Justice Came Closer’ with BNP Penalty (Audio)

William Black, associate professor of economics and law at the University of Missouri Kansas City and author of “The Best Way to Rob a Bank is to Own One,” discusses BNP Paribas SA’s record $8.97-billion U.S. penalty for breaking U.S. sanctions. He says the penalty is more just than penalties inflicted in the past, but that the fine is still not “a big enough deal” to BNP Paribas. Black speaks with Bloomberg’s Kathleen Hays on Bloomberg Radio’s "The Hays Advantage".
