Vestas Supplying 166 Megawatts of Turbines to Minnesota Project

Vestas Wind Systems A/S, the world’s largest wind-turbine maker, won an order to sell equipment capable of generating 166 megawatts of power to a project in Minnesota.

Vestas will deliver 83 2-megawatt turbines to the Pleasant Valley wind farm in the fourth quarter of next year, the Aarhus, Denmark-based manufacturer said today in a statement. The sale includes a three-year service agreement. Terms weren’t disclosed.
