Jim O’Shaughnessy, chairman and chief executive officer of O’Shaughnessy Asset Management LLC, says “the less you pay, the more you earn” when it comes to long-term investing. O’Shaughnessy, who’s the author of investment guides including “What Works On Wall Street”, says his approach is to use as much beta as there’s access to. He says a multitude of metrics should be used to rank stocks to get a sense of what’s truly cheap. O’Shaughnessy says overvalued stocks currently include TSLA and LNKD, while undervalued, “cheap”, stocks include JPM and IBM. O’Shaughnessy speaks with Bloomberg’s Kathleen Hays and Vonnie Quinn on Bloomberg Radio’s "The Hays Advantage."
