JPMorgan Middle East Investment Banker Rody Yared Said to Leave

Rody Yared, an executive director at JPMorgan Chase & Co. (JPM)’s investment bank in the United Arab Emirates, is leaving the U.S. lender, according to two people with knowledge of the matter.

Yared left the bank for personal reasons, said the people, who asked not to be identified as the information is private.

A spokeswoman for JPMorgan declined to comment. Yared previously worked for Dubai-based Shuaa Capital where he was head of equity capital markets.

JPMorgan has been boosting its presence in the region by hiring executives from banks including Nomura International Plc and HSBC Holdings Plc. The bank appointed Declan Hegarty as general manager of its Abu Dhabi office earlier this month.
