Brian Sozzi, chief executive officer and chief equities strategist at Belus Captial Advisors, says retailers are offering significant deals and are still unable to turn profits. Sozzi says retailers have to do a better job merchandising and vendors have to add more technology to their products to entice customers to replace equipment. Sozzi says retailers are also competing with organic grocery-stores and digital apps for the marginal consumer dollar.
