Toronto Home Sales Rise 1.8% in April From Year Ago, Board Says

Homes sales in the greater Toronto area rose 1.8 percent in April from a year ago, the city’s real estate board said.

The city’s realtors sold 9,706 units during the month, compared with 9,535 a year ago, the Toronto Real Estate Board said today in a statement. The average selling price in April was C$577,898 ($528,920), 10.1 percent above year-ago levels, it said.
