Brooklyn Nets Top Raptors to Take 2-1 Lead in NBA Playoff Series

Joe Johnson scored 29 points and the Brooklyn Nets beat the Toronto Raptors 102-98 to take a 2-1 lead in their National Basketball Association playoff series.

Deron Williams added 22 points and eight assists for the Nets, who survived a late Toronto rally. DeMar DeRozan had 30 points to lead the visiting Raptors, who cut a late 15-point deficit to one point in the final minute.

Game 4 in the best-of-seven first-round series is scheduled for tomorrow at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn.

Also last night in the NBA playoffs, Mike Dunleavy hit eight 3-pointers and scored 35 points as the Chicago Bulls won 100-97 at the Washington Wizards to pull within 2-1 in their series.
