Shanks Says Fields as CEO Would Mean Continuity (Audio

Bob Shanks, the chief financial officer at Ford Motor Company, says the company’s chief operating officer, Mark Fields, would not make changes in the number two automaker’s strategy as a successor to departing chief executive officer Alan Mullaly. Shanks also discusses the 39% drop in Ford’s quarterly profits, and why the amount set aside for warranty reserves that helped drive it will not be repeated in the same magnitude in coming quarters. Shanks speaks with Bloomberg’s Kathleen Hays and Vonnie Quinn on Bloomberg Radio’s "The Hays Advantage”.
