Diageo Plc (DGE)’s Chateau & Estate Wines division has secured exclusive import rights for Chateau Minuty rose wines from Provence into the U.S., expanding its range of brands in that market, Drinks Business Review said.
Diageo will import three wines from Chateau Minuty, which has been owned and run by the Matton-Farnet family since the 1930s, according to DBR’s website. Diageo Chateau & Estate Wines already owns several properties in California, including Sterling Vineyards in Napa Valley and Chalone Estate in the central coast area, DBR said.
