BaltCap, a private-equity investor in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania, put 1.5 million euros ($2 million) into developing a wind farm in western Lithuania.
BaltCap made the investment with Renagro Group, which is providing more than 8.5 million euros, the Tallinn, Estonia-based investor said in a statement on its website. A further 25 million euros is provided by “a commercial bank,” it said, without identifying the lender.
The 24-megawatt wind farm near Jurkarbas is being developed by Eurakras and it’s expected to start working in the second-half of 2015.
