AutoNation CEO Says Mid-March Sales Jump Continues (Audio)

Mike Jackson, chief executive officer of AutoNation, says after staying home during the cold winter months of January and February, customers surged back into the company’s showrooms in mid-March, giving the nation’s biggest retailer of new cars and trucks another record quarterly profit. He says strong buyer traffic and sales did not let up in April, reinforcing his forecast for at least 16 million unit sales this year. Jackson speaks with Bloomberg’s Kathleen Hays and Vonnie Quinn on Bloomberg Radio’s "The Hays Advantage”.
