Yingli will build and operate the plants and United will assume ownership as they are completed over the next two years, according to a statement today from Baoding, China-based Yingli. Terms weren’t disclosed.
The solar farms will be in provinces including Hebei, Guangxi, Shanxi and Shandong.
Yingli gained 5.7 percent to $4.10 at 10:49 a.m. in New York.
