Keystone Pipeline Suit Won’t Be Heard by Texas High Court

TransCanada Corp. (TRP)’s right to condemn land in Texas for its Keystone XL pipeline won’t be considered by the state’s highest court, which declined to hear one of the few remaining Texas cases challenging it.

The Texas Supreme Court today denied a request by Texas farmer Julia Trigg Crawford to review lower-court decisions letting TransCanada use eminent domain laws to install the oil pipeline across her land over her objections.
