Hanwha SolarOne Supplying 6.2 Megawatts of Modules in Guatemala

Hanwha SolarOne Co. (HSOL), the China-based photovoltaic manufacturing unit of South Korea’s Hanwha Group, supplied 6.2 megawatts of panels for a solar farm in Guatemala.

A group comprising Spain’s Grupo Gransolar SL and Cobra Instalaciones y Servicios SA is developing the project, Hanwha SolarOne said today in a statement. Terms weren’t disclosed.

Hanwha SolarOne, based in Qidong, said on March 13 it expects to ship 1.5 gigawatts to 1.6 gigawatts of panels this year.
