German Stocks Pare Gains; DAX Index Is Little Changed

German stocks were little changed, after the DAX Index yesterday fell the most in more than two weeks, as investors awaited a U.S report on existing-home sales.

SGL Carbon SE slumped 6.3 percent after UBS AG said the maker of carbon fibers may face another year of net losses and no dividends. Volkswagen AG rose 1 percent, limiting losses for the DAX.

The DAX lost 0.1 percent to 9,607.06 at 9:48 a.m. in Frankfurt. The HDAX Index also slipped 0.1 percent.
