Fox Says Record Super Bowl Audience Revised Up to 112.2 Million

The Fox television network said the audience for the Feb. 2 Super Bowl was revised higher to 112.2 million from the record 111.5 million reported earlier.

Revisions of about 1 percent are not uncommon, New York-based Fox Sports said today in an e-mail. The rating for the game, representing the percentage of U.S. TV households that tuned in, was increased to 46.7 from 46.4 previously.
