Eighteen months after filing for divorce and just days after his New Orleans Saints lost in the NFC playoffs to the Seattle Seahawks, NFL head coach Sean Payton decided to make a big, Texas-sized cut.

Payton and his estranged wife, Beth, have listed their massive, resort-like home for $3.49 million.

According to Candy Evans, Dallas real estate blogger, Payton's marital woes have led the family to exit the luxurious Mediterranean-style home at 2006 Brazos Ct., Westlake, TX 76262. The couple bought the house in January 2012 but divorce papers were filed by the couple in the summer of 2012.

The 7,784-square-foot home is set on 1.13 acres in the exclusive Vaquero Golf Club community and lacks for absolutely nothing when it comes to indoor and outdoor amenities. The 5-bedroom, 6-bathroom manse is ringed by outdoor patio areas with fire pits, a lovely pool with swim-up bar. There's also a mirror-balled bar for private disco nights. And when the home doesn't supply enough diversions, the concierge amenities at Vaquero include golf course, spa and tennis courts.

Payton, who was notoriously suspended and fined for his role in rewarding players with "bounty-hunting" payoffs for putting harmful hits on opposing players, had been an assistant coach with the Dallas Cowboys. Despite working in New Orleans, Payton and his wife wanted their two children to attend school in Westlake, TX. In fact, divorce papers state that Beth Payton wants the children to remain in the same county, in order to continue in the same schools.
