Eletrosul to Get $137 Million KfW Group Clean-Energy Credit Line

Eletrosul Centrais Eletricas SA, a unit of Brazil’s state-run power utility, will receive a 100 million-euro credit line ($137 million) from German development lender KfW Group for wind- and solar-energy projects.

Eletrosul, based in Florianopolis, Brazil, hasn’t determined what projects to support with the credit line, a press official who didn’t want to be named because of company policy, said today in an interview.
