Nadal Advances at Australian Open When Tomic Quits After 1st Set

Top seed Rafael Nadal advanced to the second round of the Australian Open when his opponent Bernard Tomic quit because of injury.

The Spaniard won the first set 6-4, and then Tomic, an Australian, decided he couldn’t continue because of a leg injury.
