Enel Green Gets $150 Million BBVA Financing for Chile Investment

Enel Green Power SpA, the clean-energy unit of Italy’s biggest utility, will get $150 million from Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria SA (BBVA) to help fund its investments in Chile.

The five-year loan at an interest rate in line with the market benchmark will be received in the next few months, the Rome-based company said today in a statement on its website.

Enel Green is building a 99-megawatt wind farm and a 36-megawatt solar park in Chile, according to the statement.
