Egypt Said to Get Offers for Wheat From U.S., Russia, France

Egypt’s General Authority for Supply Commodities received the following offers for its wheat-import tender today, according to two traders involved in the tender who asked not to be identified because they aren’t authorized to speak to the media. The grain is for shipment Jan. 21-31 and Feb. 1-10. Each cargo is 60,000 tons unless otherwise stated and prices are per ton on a free-on-board basis.

France - Louis Dreyfus at $298.74 - Lecureur at $296.90 - Soufflet at $297.65 - Nidera at $300.00 - Noble 55,000 tons at $305.35 - Bunge at $297.87 - Cargill at $301.50 - Glencore at $300.00 - InVivo at $297.12

Russia - Glencore 55,000 tons at $301.40 - Nidera 55,000 tons at $309.90

Ukraine - Abu Donkol at $300.00 - Abu Donkol at $300.00

Romania - Cargill at $301.50 - Bunge at $301.65 - Toepfer at $302.69

U.S. Hard Red Winter - Louis Dreyfus 55,000 tons at $279.78 - Louis Dreyfus 55,000 tons at $273.14 - Cargill 55,000 tons at $293.00

Germany - Vitol at $294.00
