Suspicionless Laptop Searches at U.S. Border Ruled Legal

Authorities need not show “reasonable suspicion” to conduct searches of laptop computers at U.S. borders, a federal judge in Brooklyn, New York, said in dismissing a lawsuit seeking to set higher standards for such searches.
