DBJ, Other Banks to Lend 19.5 Billion Yen for Sojitz Solar Plant

Development Bank of Japan Inc. and six other Japanese banks will provide a 19.5 billion yen ($187 million) loan for a solar power plant developed by Sojitz Corp. (2768)

DBJ and the Bank of Tokyo-Mitsubishi UFJ Ltd. serve as arrangers of the loan for the 71-megawatt plant in the northern prefecture of Aomori, DBJ said in a statement today. Other banks in the group include Aomori Bank (8342) and the Bank of Iwate, according to the statement.

The station will be completed by the end of 2016, Sojitz, a Tokyo-based trading company, said in August.
