Enel Green Starts Work on $196 Million Mexico Wind-Energy Plant

Enel Green Power SpA (EGPW), a unit of Italy’s biggest utility, started work on a $196 million wind farm in Mexico’s central municipality of Charcas through a local subsidiary.

Dominica Energia Limpia S. de RL will complete the 100-megawatt Dominica I project in the second half of next year, Rome-based Enel Green said today in a statement. It will generate about $485 million of revenue from two contracts to supply energy.
