Manila Water Co. (MWC), the largest water supplier in the Philippines, said profit rose 9 percent to 4.29 billion pesos ($98.4 million) in the nine-month period through September on higher billing volume.
Revenue for the period rose 6 percent to 11.54 billion pesos from a year earlier, the company that provides half of Manila’s water supplies said today in a statement. The shares have fallen 21 percent this year in Manila compared with a 7 percent gain by the 20-member Bloomberg World Water Index
