CMHC Cuts 2014 Canada Housing Starts Forecast to 184,700
Canada’s housing agency lowered its forecast for the start of work on new dwellings next year to 184,700 units from an earlier estimate of 186,600 units.
The pace of starts in 2013 will be 185,000, compared with a previous forecast of 182,800 units, Canada Mortgage & Housing Corp. said today from Ottawa.
