Berkshire Railroad Names Piggott Finance Chief, Replacing Hund

Burlington Northern Santa Fe, the railroad owned by Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway Inc. (BRK/A), said Julie Piggott has been promoted to chief financial officer from vice president of planning and studies.

She will start in the new post in the first quarter of next year replacing Tom Hund, who is retiring after working as CFO since 1999, the Fort Worth, Texas-based railroad said today in a statement distributed by Business Wire.
