Princeton University Earns 11.7% Investment Return on Endowment
Princeton University reported an 11.7 percent return on its investments in the 12 months ended in June, up from a 3.1 percent gain a year earlier.
The endowment’s value grew to $18.2 billion, an increase of $1.2 billion, the Ivy League school in Princeton, New Jersey, said today in a statement. Foundations and endowments had a one-year median return of 11.28 percent in the most recent fiscal year, up from an increase of 0.38 percent in the prior year, Wilshire Associates said in an Aug. 6 report.
